K. Huggs is a Vocalist, Spoken Word Artist, Songwriter, and budding violiist with an eclectic sound, and a diverse, US and international appeal.

 

As an emerging artist, K. is making waves in the US and abroad with her first full album, She Rains, 2022 single releases, Oh My Gawd feat. Base Fase & Back 2 The Music, and her sophomore album release, NAKED!

 

Over the years, K. has performed at the Indiana Black Expo, Live Radio Performance during the annual Circle City Classic, Radio Commercials, Indiana Governors Convention, 2012 Super Bowl Appreciation Event, Zoobilation & Zoolapalooza at the Indianapolis Zoo, The NAACP Juneteenth Celebration, Opened for Loose Ends and Kurtis Blow at the 2012 Wes Montgomery Park Festival, Performed at the 2012 Riverside Park Festival - Indianapolis, IN, Featured act to kick off the Summer of Soul Series at The Soul Lounge - Louisville, KY in 2013, opened for Grammy award-winning artist Anthony Hamilton and award-winning SWV (Sisters with Voices) - Columbus, OH, and was slated to share the stage with Carl Thomas, and SWV in Cincinnati, OH, Guest concert performance with Julie Dexter & Headliner, Noel Gourdin at the Soul Lounge - Louisville, KY.  In 2021. K. performed in 2019 & 2021 on the stage of The Indianapolis Christmas Gift & Hobby Show at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. K. has graced the open stage during open mic platforms at Epic Ultra Lounge, and at The Jazz Kitchen in Indianapolis. K. was the opener in 2021 for The Mind Trust & The Highland Project event, Black Girl Magic: A Fireside Chat event. At the event, K. wrote poetry for two young girls to recite and performed her original song, 'Pretty Girl', and her original poem, 'Brown Girl Like Me' at the Indianapolis Central Library.

 

October 30, 2022, K's Silent Album listening party with Chicago-based Urban Fêtes was held at the one and only Epic Ultra Lounge in Indianapolis, IN was a hit. DJ Boogie Bang was excellent on the 1's and 2's. K. welcomed her guests from Indiana, Atlanta, and Houston, with a red carpet, cigars by Kentucky-based Gary Lōks Premium Cigars, Skincare products by Indianapolis-based Bodied By J, and Lip Gloss by Indianapolis-based Lady Beatz Beauty Brand all branded with the K. Huggs - NAKED logo. All guests in attendance received a gift, a flash drive with her albums, She Rains & Naked on a key chain with the Album cover and a NAKED branded Cigar.

 

K. Huggs' debut album project was released internationally on 05/30/2016. Her music reaches your heart & soul as she expresses loss, pain, glory, triumph, love, & sensuality in a way that everyone will relate to and enjoy. Her CD titled, "She Rains" includes 11 tracks with music created by a diverse mix of talented and award-winning producers who span from GA, CA, IN, Canada, France, and the UK to create an eclectic mix of music genres including R&B, Inspirational, Dance, EDM, Neo Soul, Gospel, & Spoken Word!

Her unique sound and positive energy have earned her radio interviews, guest appearances/performances, Thousands of Social Media fans, and Digital & FM radio airplay. In 2017, "Speakers" had over 24,000 Radio spins over 6 months across 408 FM Radio Stations worldwide!

K. has done live radio interviews with several radio stations around the world. She was on a segment called Around The World in 60 Seconds which aired in Vancouver, Canada, and Japan on CJSF 90.1 FM,  the Ask Any Woman radio show for the "Women in Song" segment, Houston Radio Station, 953 Jamz on a show called "Love After Dark", and a live Youtube show based out of South Florida called, The Foolish Show!

Just days, before the NAKED album release, K's single release, Back 2 The Music was spotted at #7 on Amazon Hot New Releases in the UK and was added to a playlist based in Wolverhampton, England called Neo2soul Playlist The Vibes 24 (Female Takeover Pt 22) which is a syndicated podcast mix show in the UK on FloRadio (UK), WVRO (UK), WHTL 95.2 (USA & UK), UITA Radio (USA & UK), and Golddust Radio (UK).
